The stunning Tanrei range from Zwilling are thoroughly exceptional knives. Japanese craftsmanship from the Japanese knife capital of Seki. With its extra-fine honing using the Honbazuke method, hand-ground by master craftsmen, you can perform the finest rocking-motion cuts with low fatigue and high precision.
Blades featuring 100 layers of newly developed premium steel and an FC 63 core have been crafted to give a beautiful patterned finish. At 63 HRC, the blade has a degree of hardness rarely achieved by kitchen knives, while still offering good flexibility.
The Japanese premium knife’s design and outstanding technical values inspire with its beautiful, individual damask pattern from the tip down. This inspiring feature continues right through to the handle with a fine micarta scales.
