MAC Damascus 60th Anniversary Knives
The MAC Damascus 60th Anniversary knife collection was created as a commemorative series marking 60 years of MAC knife-making. Designed to showcase the brand’s focus on sharpness, durability, and ease of use, the range combines high-quality AUS-10 stainless steel with a refined 45-layer Damascus construction. The result is a collection that feels more premium and considered than MAC’s more everyday-focused ranges, while still retaining the practical cutting performance the brand is known for.
Each blade features a distinctive wave-like Damascus pattern formed from 45 layers of steel, giving the series both visual depth and structural strength. The AUS-10 steel provides sharpness, corrosion resistance, and dependable edge retention, while the substantial ferrule design helps create a stable, balanced feel in hand. Finished with a mahogany handle and 3D shaping for grip and comfort, the 60th Anniversary series has been designed to feel high end and premium.

Our Personal Opinion
Handling the MAC Damascus 60th Anniversary knives, the first thing that stands out is the step up in finish compared with MAC’s more understated working ranges. The Damascus pattern gives the blade a more refined presence, but it still feels purposeful rather than overly decorative. In person, the wave pattern has a clean, controlled look that suits MAC’s practical design language.
The mahogany handle gives the series a warmer and more premium feel in the hand. The 3D shaping is noticeable when gripping the knife, adding a little more
security and comfort without making the handle feel bulky. The ferrule also
gives the knife a more stable, anchored feel, which works well with the slightly more elevated character of the range.
On the board, the AUS-10 blade feels sharp, smooth, and confident through everyday prep. The chef knife offers the broadest all-round use, while the Kiritsuke brings a more precise, pointed profile for controlled slicing and detail work. As a collection, the MAC Damascus 60th Anniversary series feels like a more
polished expression of the brand: still practical and easy to use, but with enough material and design detail to feel genuinely special.
