Zwilling Knives
Zwilling J.A. Henckels is one of the most established names in cutlery anywhere in the world, founded in Solingen, Germany, in 1731 and driven ever since by a reputation for precision and quality. While Zwilling's roots are firmly German, the brand also makes knives in Japan, and it is that Japanese side of Zwilling that sits at home here. Working in Seki, the historic heart of Japanese blade-making, Zwilling brings its engineering heritage together with traditional Japanese craft to produce knives that combine the best of both worlds.
The clearest expression of that is the Zwilling Tanrei range, the collection we stock. Made in Seki by Japanese master craftsmen, Tanrei pairs a Japanese Damascus blade and the traditional Honbazuke edge with Zwilling's premium steel and considered design, an East-meets-West knife in the truest sense.
