Kai Shun Combination Whetstone 1000/4000

A high end whetstone made from premium ceramics to give superior performance and a much longer life span.

The 1000 grit side is thicker, as it will be sued more often, whilst the 4000 grit side enables you to get 'better than new' results and a sharper edge then when the knife was new.

The block is thicker than normal, keeping hands and fingers free from catching the block holder. 

• Soak the whetstone in water for about 10 to 20 minutes before use and make sure that it is always slightly wet during the sharpening process.
• Clean the whetstone and the case in water after each use. Wipe the moisture off and dry thoroughly before storing.
• After sharpening, please wash the knife with warm, soapy water. Rinse and wipe dry immediately.
